Blue Print for Maryland's Future

In February of this year, the education reform bill known as, “The Blueprint for Maryland’s Future,” overcame a governor’s veto to become law in Maryland. The new legislation encompasses important mandates that will guide HCPS on future initiatives and areas of focus, such as college and career preparation, a career ladder for teachers, expansion of student supports, early childhood education growth, and foundational work for implementation and accountability.
